[Band Profile.]
Formed in 2017 with pianist Yugo Nagata, who has been leading the scene since his CD debut while still in college, and vocalist Shoko Hirano, who has been remarkably active in both the jazz and pop music industries.
With a repertoire of jazz standards with innovative arrangements and genre-less originals, the group is attracting attention as a new type of unit.
In 2020, Nagata released "Our Standards," a collection of standards that he arranged in its entirety.

Shoko Hirano Vocal

Born in Kyoto City, Japan.
She was a member of an entertainment production company for three years during her high school years, appearing in dramas, movies, and other productions.
Around that time, he began his musical activities.
After graduating from Kyoto University of Education Senior High School, he entered AN MUSIC SCHOOL KYOTO.
Studied under Norio Uemura.
While still in school, he began performing live and recording music.
With its roots in pop music, the group performs a wide range of music from jazz to songs.
In December 2017, the first mini album was released nationwide.
In July 2020, he and pianist Yugo Nagata released their first album "asobiyoshi" as a twin unit, "Our Our Standards"""" as a twin-unit with pianist Yugo Nagata.
Participated in album ""Relight Delight"" with trumpeter Mirai Hirose's big band, released in November 2021.

Yugo Nagata Piano

Born in 1989 in Nishinomiya City, Hyogo Prefecture.
He began playing piano at the age of 4, and after a one-year stay in the U.S. as an exchange student when he was 16, he fell in love with jazz, and at the age of 18 he began his musical career in earnest.
Released his debut CD "Zenith and Nader" nationwide in 2011 under the JAZZ LAB. label.
This work, in which all songs are originals, was performed by members of the same generation, and was well received as "Heisei-born jazz".
Currently, in addition to his work with asobiyoshi, he is a member of the Yusuke Imanishi Sextet, Tsutomu Takei Quartet, Hideki Kawamura Quartet, and Trio Nomade.
He has performed with Eddie Henderson (tp), known for his many famous collaborations with Herbie Hancock (pf), on his West Japan tour, as well as with Jonathan Powell (tp), Theo Croker (tp), Eri Ohno (vo), Masahiko Kitahara (tb), and others. Ska Paradise Jazz Orchestra, etc.
